i noe i've been neglecting my blog. so here i am to pay back my dues of posts n bored all u readers to death again.
Foot Drill Instructor Course
i PASSED!!! haha now juz need to practice to gain more confidence. ane1 wanna be my test subj??? haha. the course POC was held @ the ballroom on 21 Sept. relatively small scale event but it was definitely an un4getable xperience. anw, wanna thank all the facilitators, instructors. bsides learning how to train ppl in FD, i felt that the course really brought ppl frm the diff zones 2gether. haha its really true that there is nothing like footdrills under the sun to bond ppl. lol!!! to my fellow course mates, i really had fun. hope ur'll did too n congratz all! btw thx SO for attending the POC...fav words "SAPSUP!!!" hahaSJAB Walkathon
weather was relatively gd. glad to c many attended the evt despite it being close 2 their exams. managed to convince EG to go on the walk oso. during the walk noticed that the marshals were cadets so dcided to help them by doing rd marshaling. thx EG and WC for helping me out. did not take any pics myself but manage to get sum aft lookin arnd...
F1 Night Race PD
tis was the mega duty i referred to in sum of my previous posts. preparing for it was really ___! but im glad to say tat the work done was not for nothing. im oso thankful to the KAH and the other duty personnel, be they from the brigade or frm elsewhere, for rallying 2gether and supporting the event thru the quiet times and the noisy times, through the happy times and the hungry times =p. although not exactly smooth sailing, we manage to overcome most of the obstacles in our path, with every1's cooperation, n oso gain valuable insight to help nxt yr's committee. the duty was a success bcos of EVERYONE's contribution. THANK YOU!!! again nt alot of photos cos 4 sum strange reason i was running arnd alot...

OTC 2008 POC
the peeps started their journey to become commissioned officers like 7mths ago. aft going thru the ups & downs and the struggles & triumphs they r finally here! i rmber my POC back in 2004. i tot that was the end, but turns out that its was the a beginning - a beginning to the life of a volunteer in SJAB. anw, i was happy to see them graduate - full of passion to serve the organization n the cadets... wish them all the best for their 'officerhood'

New Balance REAL RUN duty...
relatively normal... a few cases all-in-all manageable. was in the spotter team wif two of my daughters n bunch of kids from yt. they were all fun+cute+patient+interesting... have to hand it to the yt kids cos they persevered thru the duty (their 1st ext. duty i tink) n managed to stand my crappiness oso =p anw, like wad i tld them, hope they manage to learn sumthing n benefit from tat duty.

well my exams are starting soon and i am almost totally screwed! muz piah n complete my studying
NCOC 2008 preparations...
we started preparing for this yr's NCOC. hope it will b a gd n memorable one not only for the trainees bt oso for the instructors oso...
