1 June - NTU Bike rally
if ntu 'strongly encourages' ALL its students 2 take part in events like tis, i shldn't hav a prob slimming down =p... we started in EastCoast bight n early in the morning and ended up at EastCoast just as the sun was disappearing bhind the horizon - but in between we when all the way to NTU n back! 4 those of u nt familiar wif s'pore geography, EastCoast n NTU r at the opp ends of S'pore... actually, the route cover all 4 directions - North, South, East n West of Singpore... admire the determination of tis ppl to keep riding on thru rain n shine a Sunday when they can juz b enjoy the day lazing arnd. oso hav to take my hat off to the organizers... i mean the biggest thing i've ever organized is NCOC n even tat pales in comparison to the scale of tis event... anw, the alpha crew i was wif were relatively quiet n some1 fell in 'luv' wif my voice haha...lol
6 June - Zone Officers meeting
haha the first zone meeting my 'kids' have taken part in... all i can say 2 myself - 'the nxt batch's here!' which gt me tinking, if i had 2 leave sjab, where will i b? cld i ever bring myself 2 leave it? im sure tat my parents r realli all 4 it but they dun seem 2 understand the joy i get working wif these peeps... haiz i guess only time will tell if im able to find a way 2 keep them happi n still keep myself happi =( ...
7 June to 8 June - ACID camp 2008
definitely an eye opening experience. PasirRisPark activities in the morning was nt realli tat interesting n i suppose the rain did put a damper on things... still i gt the oppurtunity 2 sing my song to KS (those hu noe me noe tat i only sing 1 'song')so far my song hav gotten mixed reviews...

as u can tell, im a great singer... lol
anw, i guess one the highlight of the duty for me was going back to my alma mater (i hope i spelt it rite?!?!)
tis was the place i spent 2 of my best years (though nt best in the academic terms!) - i realli grew as a person, a frend, a leader while i was there... it was here tat i developed g8 frendships n had my 1st real crush... i tink other than values n lesson PJC gave me, it oso gav me the 'Dumb Family' - a grp of ppl wifout whom i dun noe if i cld hav pulled thru the hardest of time while i was there... those were real gd times but atlas, gd times nvr last but at least memories do...
back to the duty, mostly uneventful wif a total 'charlie' count of less than 5??? anw met a rather frendly, down 2 earth doctor n many frendly instructors (SGLs/GLs) really hav 2 giv it 2 the volunteers 4 spending their time 2 giv the participants an opportunity to realli enjoy themselves...
on the way home aft duty dropped by 2 see SO's 'baby' which wasn't feelin too well will b brought 2 see the mechanic coming monday for sum 'surgery'...
lastly to the NDP ppl,
i won't get 2 c ur'll much ( can alreadi hear sum of u shouting in joy lol) but JIAYOU kiez... n rmber 2 look out 4 one another! make the brigade n urself proud by putting up a gd show yah, n most of all, try n enjoy the xperience...
