CAA 2008
all i can say is...
4 GOLD, 3 SILVER, 1 BRONZE
well done every1... cos every1 has improved n met their target! i noe alot of hardwork went to producing such commendable results n u all deserves a pat on ur back!
n for the 1st time since i took up tis apptment, my calculation was supper chun differing by like less than 1%.... Yay! (ok lame but yah....)

hectic weekend followed by doing nthing at all for the last few days!
on 16 feb sat had chingay in the evening. it was quite ok. highlights:
1. MPSS ppl (tis time more of them!) n it was more of a fleeting glance cos they called to infd gt one casualty tat fell. ok so i n hp went over n 'treated' the casualty. it was a slight gazing on the knee. funny thing was, treatment took mayb abt 2 min. photo taking wif the mpss sjab peeps hmmm mayb 15min.... lol. 1/2way thru the photos noticed the casualty there looking lost lol...
haha... anw she was ok, they were happy n i had fun....
2. 3 more casualties at FA pt 6. 2 exhauation n 1 'weak ankle'. had to call in an 'urgent msg' thru the comms when the first charlie cos they were going on and on abt food and picking up the patrol/ FA point ppl. oddly, i tink if i rmber correctly, aft saying urgent msg, they were still continueing their conversation. it wasn't unitl a while later tat i herad JH responding to my 'urgent msg' call.... i guess we still hav sum way 2 improve on the comms procedure... anw, found out tat i can b d_mned reassuring when i want to b lol.... the way i reassured the guy even surprised me!... anw none to hotel
did nt join them for the post chingay dance duty cos S.O wanted us 2 get sum rest. tat was gd but i kinda like to hav gone 4 tat duty but anwaies, we can't hav everyting rite?
on 17 feb, sun had 2 duties.
morning had NUS biatlon. on casualties at all 4 my point. had two gals to do duty wif... they were nt bad... pretty intelligent n able to stand my lamery (while sitting down!) had a bit of trouble finding the FA pt n ended up walking quite a bit dragging poor pris n yy wif me. i guess u can say we juz went 4 a moring stroll in East Coast. me wif my ear piece n like a tourist looking at my map frm time to time n the 2 of them in the full brigade u.... haha.. wad a sight! met "Mr Glove" at the duty n we adopted him as our mascot n yy said my songs OLD FASHION LOL!!! hmmm they r nt old, juz evergreen! haha... by the end of duty, pris was having a realli bad sore throat, yy was super bored n tired n i, well lets juz say tat nt slpping was making me delirious n oso my sides were sore... (hmmm...) anw, oso had 2 pity bee leng frm anss cos kept suaning her... wad 2 do, they day b4 she wifout her contact lenz or specs was like a blind bat lol... quite cute 2 she her try to figure hu r u when shen can't c lol... (srry ms tan!)
chinatown closing ceremony was nt tat bad. quite uninteresting xcept tat i found out tat sme1 went all the way home 2 rest but ended up watching CSI instead. hw she cld keep awake is surprising lol... duty itself stank! literally! cos the canal was stinking quite badly 4 sme reason anw, no casualty, all went well.
aft the hectic weekend, i did nothing 4 the nxt four days but eat, slp n use computer. juz realised tat i did nt even leave my house 4 anything lol... and tmr, its back 2 wrk. hope i can get up in time! n hopefully u r nt tat bored tat u r drooling @ ur keyboard aft reading tis long, boring post. if u r, then SRRY 4 being boring! if u r nt, then congrats for ur threshold for boring stuff is quite high... YAYAYAY... ok... lame... bb now

SAC FA refersher...
nt much 2 say xcept tat had to take taxi there n it was soo X lol.... haiz, muz plan time better nxt time!
b4 the class, they invited us to toss 'loh hay??' wif them. my 1st time n it was quite interesting i muz say... anw thx for inclding us!

Chingay Rehearsal...
was under the shears brigdge again for the umpteen time on a pd (i guess there's sum strange connection tat keep geeting me being deployed under the bridge 4 duties...) anw, was quite boring at first then had a little xcitment. a few interesting things happened...
1) gt deployed with S.O. as his one n only ambulance crew. pity him! he had to do duty wif sme1 hu cldn't treat well or drive! but luckily, my aura of 'hengness' came back 2day. only 1 'hotel' case...
2) gt to c a racing car up close. but even tat did nt stand up 2 how interested i was in the flatbed truck tat was carrying the truck... how odd!
3) gt 2 c the macpersonians ( inclding my 2 darling daughters!) wif their flags n all. well to u gals n boy (only saw 1 dun noe if there r more =P), didn't manage to catch ur performance but judging from how tired n 'high' u guys were, i can c tat u put in much effort into it. on b1/2 of those watching the show being entertained by u peeps, THANK YOU! heard tat u ppl reached back quite late. hope all of ur'll manage to get sum hot supper n a gd rest. all the best for tmr!!!
4) my one any only hotel case 4 2day. a poor gal was hit by a float casing her to injure her lower legs... interesting cos its the1st time i had to handel a 'hotel' charlie on my own (cos S.O. was driving, the other officer was 'new' to hotel charlies). it was a stark contrast to my past 'hotel' charlies where i just assits, following instructions from the more xperienced ones...evaluatuion?: quite a bad handover from grd crew to us cos we did nt manage to get the particluars/mechanics of injury/dianosis from the grnd crew n had to trouble the gal n her frend by restarting while proceeding to hotel... anw, my amatuer questioning of the casualty n visual dianosis of the gal oso like _____. we handed her over to the doc n nurses wif more qns than ans!haiz... hope she recovers soon!
n that was pd xperinece for today.... or rather, ystd! =P...nitez

21 years... n counting!
its been 21 yrs since this poor earth had to endure my torture.... poor thing!!! haha well, i'll try to be gd!

happenings
i noe i hav been neglecting to blog but i guess it was for the best.... anw, here is a quick look back of the last 2 wks of my crappy life...
CNY lightup duty
ok i guess. nt much to say xcept tat i still feel.... isolated. can't follow conversations others r having cos i either dun understand/speak chinese or that im nt interested in the conversation topic at all... i guess the highlight of the pd was meeting ppl hu had gone there juz to 'enjoy' the party - like this officer frm my stn n a gal hu is my sjab junior/counterpart. the latter did surprise me (in a gd way i suppose) and i was at a lost for wrds b4 i jus mumbled sum wrds to her... no offense hor! it wasn't u! it was me!.... anw, moving on, spend the rest of the juz standing arnd occupying my mind... i wld like to ask y i keep asking to go for duties when i dun really enjoy them?
my team
found out tat they no longer c me as 1 of them... haiz... aft all tis time. all ur'll had 2 do was giv me a call. i guess even tat was too much trouble for u guys! srry to inconvenience u guys all tis while
zone meeting
not really very eventfully but did take on new portfolio n found out sji sjab has changed OC... wanted to get smething 4 Sars but found out tat he was nt going... o well

i must a thank you to those tat spend time to organise it however, in the interest of being frank, i felt tat i wasted my time there....
terry's b'dae
went quite late aft work... was touched to noe tat tng n a few others waited for me to com although it was getting late for them... thx guys! as i said, we may look different but we sure still act the same lol... found out tat terry was leaving in like 2 wks time for ________ . too bad its sooooo soooooon if nt cld try n arrange a gathering of sqd Aquarius. hopefully lotz come for the sunday prog still noticed tat i can't juz relax to hav fun!!! o well, ALL THE BEST TERRY!!!
speaking of birthdays,
lotz to ppl having been celebrating theirs recently. a big fat HAPPY BIRTHDAY to all these ppl. may all their wishes come true n their life b fill wif happiness.
n today, i learnt a super duper important lesson today. which is.....
to juz keep my mouth shut while at work!
anw, i tink i hav spoil enuf peeps mood wif my post so i shall juz stop here!
